“Mom, do you know where I am right now?” My son FaceTimed me the other morning and suddenly asked me that question.
To my surprise… he was standing in my favorite bookstore 😳😍❣️
At the end, he proudly held up the three books he had just bought—his very first time choosing books to read for himself! And one of them was The Alchemist, the book I had gifted him twice over the years, hoping he might someday feel called to read it. Not only did he read it—he finished it! And he shared with me the parts that stuck out to him.
Now he’s already diving into the second book!
Thank you God, thank you Universe, and thank you to all the wonderful authors in this world🙏🙏🙏

“Mamá, ¿sabes dónde estoy ahora mismo?”
Mi hijo me hizo una videollamada el otro día por la mañana y, de repente, me hizo esa pregunta.
Para mi sorpresa… ¡estaba en mi librería favorita!😳😍❣️
Al final, levantó con orgullo los tres libros que acababa de comprar—la primera vez en su vida que eligió libros para leer por voluntad propia. Y uno de ellos era El Alquimista, el libro que yo le había regalado dos veces a lo largo de los años, con la esperanza de que algún día sintiera el llamado de leerlo. No solo lo leyó… ¡lo terminó! Y compartió conmigo las partes que más le impactaron.
¡Y ahora ya se está sumergiendo en el segundo libro!

「ママ、今、僕がどこにいるかわかる？」
先日の朝、息子からフェイスタイムがかかってきて、突然そう聞かれました。
なんと…彼は私の大好きな本屋さんにいたんです😳😍❣️
（はじめてのことなんです❣️）
最後に彼が誇らしげに見せてくれたのは、人生で初めて自分の意思で選んで買った３冊の本。
その中の1冊は、私が何年も前にいつか読んでほしい、と願って二度も贈ったパウロ・コエーリョさんの『アルケミスト』だったんです（感涙）！
息子はそれをあっという間に読み切り、心に残った部分をシェアしてくれました。
そして今では、もう2冊目に夢中になっています！
神さま、大宇宙よ、そしてこの世界の素晴らしい作家の皆さま、ありがとうございます🙏🙏🙏
息子がついに、読書の魔法のようなひとときと感動、そしてページの向こうに広がる冒険を発見してくれました❣️👏 📖🌈✨
