8/17 Thank You Monday💞サンキューマンデー💞 Lunes de Gracias

While I was re-reading a book co-written by Setsu, ... thoughts were going through my mind, and I was struggling with how strong my sense of “self” still is.
But when I realized that, even with all of that, I am still part of the whole, the faces of the people I love came to mind. I felt so grateful that I actually cried.
Then, the fortune cookie that came with dinner said:
Your friends accept you just as you are.
Those words really touched me.
They felt so personal, but also so warm and comforting.
And they made me want to keep growing as a person.

Setsuの共著『22％に秘められた真実』 を読み返していて、
思いや考えが巡り、個の意識がまだまだ強くてもがいている私も、全体の中にいて存在している、ということを思ったとき、大切な人たちの顔が浮かび、ありがたくて思わず泣けてきました。
そのあとディナーについてきたフォーチュンクッキーのメッセージが、
Your friends accept you just as you are.
（あなたの友人たちは、ありのままのあなたを受け入れてくれています）
個人的に突き刺さるようでもあり、あたたかい深い言葉で、
人として成長したい！と思いました。

Mientras releía un libro escrito en colaboración con Setsu, muchos pensamientos pasaban por mi mente, y me daba cuenta de que todavía lucho con lo fuerte que es mi sentido del “yo”.
Pero cuando comprendí que, a pesar de todo eso, sigo formando parte del todo, me vinieron a la mente los rostros de las personas que quiero. Sentí tanta gratitud que incluso se me escaparon unas lágrimas.
Entonces, el mensaje de la galleta de la fortuna que venía con la cena decía:
“Tus amigos te aceptan tal como eres.”
Esas palabras me llegaron muy hondo.
Sentí que eran muy personales, pero al mismo tiempo cálidas y reconfortantes. Y me hicieron sentir que quiero seguir creciendo como persona.
