On November 9, 1989— 36 years ago — the Berlin Wall, which divided East and West Germany, fell.
Thank you to Rodney, Setsu’s husband, who shared this news in our family group chat yesterday.
It’s unimaginable to think that one day, a massive wall could rise suddenly — separating families and friends for 28 years.
And those who tried to cross the border were even killed.
Setsu always says that division and separation are what take us away from ONENESS.
Building the wall was exactly that.
Thank you, God, for the day of Berlin’s unification 36 years ago.
And thank you to the people who never lost hope for their freedom.
The wall was built almost overnight, but its fall came suddenly one day.
We must never lose hope or give up.
This history has taught us that a world of ONENESS and peace can also emerge suddenly — just as the Berlin Wall fell in a single day.
In June of this year, three incredible people, including Setsu, who live and work for a peaceful world, stood before the Berlin Wall to offer a declaration and prayer for world peace during an Instagram Live broadcast.

El 9 de noviembre de 1989 — hace 36 años — cayó el Muro de Berlín, que dividía Alemania del Este y Alemania del Oeste.
Gracias a Rodney, el esposo de Setsu, que compartió esta noticia en nuestro grupo familiar ayer.
Es inimaginable pensar que un día, un muro enorme podría levantarse de repente — separando a familias y amigos durante 28 años.
Y aquellos que intentaron cruzar la frontera incluso fueron asesinados.
Setsu siempre dice que la división y la separación nos alejan de la UNIDAD.
Construir el muro fue exactamente eso.
Gracias, Dios, por el día de la unificación de Berlín hace 36 años.
Y gracias a las personas que nunca perdieron la esperanza de recuperar su libertad.
El muro se construyó casi de la noche a la mañana, pero su caída ocurrió de repente en un solo día.
Nunca debemos perder la esperanza ni rendirnos.
Esta historia nos ha enseñado que un mundo de UNIDAD y paz también puede surgir de repente — tal como cayó el Muro de Berlín en un solo día.
En junio de este año, tres personas increíbles — incluida Setsu, que vive y trabaja por un mundo en paz — se reunieron frente al Muro de Berlín para ofrecer una declaración y una oración por la paz mundial durante un Instagram Live.

今から36年前、1989年11月9日、東西ドイツを分けていたベルリンの壁が崩壊しました。
Setsu（節）の旦那さんのロドニーさんが家族のグループチャットでこのニュースを共有してくれました。ありがとうございます！
ある日突然、自分の住んでいる国で東西を避ける大きな壁が建ち、28年間も家族や友人を引き離すことがあるなんて、想像することさえできません。
そして、その壁を越えようとした人々は命を落とすことさえあったなんて。
Setsuはいつも、分離が私たちをONENESS（ワンネス）から遠ざけると言います。
この壁を建てることはまさにそれでした。
36年前、このベルリンの壁が崩壊したことに感謝です。
そして自由になることを諦めず希望を持ち続けた人々にも感謝します。
壁はある日いきなり建てられました。でも、その崩壊もある日突然起こったのです。
私たちも決して希望を失ったり諦めたりしてはいけないですね。
この歴史から、ONENESS（ワンネス）の世界や平和な世界も、ベルリンの壁が一日で崩れたように、突然起こり得る事を教えてくれました。
今年の6月、それぞれの役割で世界平和を実現しようとしているSetsuを含む3人が、ベルリンの壁の前で世界平和の宣言と祈りをインスタライブで行いました。
