8/18 Thank You Monday by Setsu｜サンキューマンデー by Setsu｜Lunes de Gracias por Setsu

Yesterday as soon as we entered a café, one of the elderly group at our next table suddenly called out to a young woman sitting alone in a corner, who still had a trace of youth, "Come here for a moment," he said, and as she stood up and approached him, he asked, "What's wrong?" Instantly, the young woman began to cry. She revealed that her mother was with cancer and in critical condition, currently undergoing tests at the hospital. Upon hearing this, he immediately replied, "Let's pray together. We are missionaries," and all of them joined in offering words of prayer for her and her mother, supporting her throughout. I also prayed together with them.
Heaven makes sure to provide us with the reassurance that we are never alone.

昨日私達がカフェに入るとすぐに、隣のテーブルの初老の方々の中のおひとりの男性が、1人端っこの席に目立たないように座っていたまだ幼さが残る若い女性に、「ちょっとこちらにおいで。」と突然声をかけ、立ち上がり近づく彼女に「どうしたんだい？」と問うや否や、その女性が泣き出したんです。お母様が癌で容態がひどくなり今まさに病院で検査を受けている最中だということでした。それを聞いたその男性はすぐに、「一緒に祈ろう。僕らは宣教師なんだ。」と告げ、彼女とお母様の為に全員で祈りの言葉をそれぞれ彼女を支えながら唱えられたんです。私も共に祈らせていただきました。
天は必ず、ひとりではないんだよ、と私達に救いをくださいます。

Ayer, tan pronto como entramos en el café, uno de los ancianos en nuestra mesa vecina de repente llamó a una joven que estaba sola en una esquina, que aún tenía un rastro de juventud, "Ven aquí un momento", dijo, y cuando ella se levantó y se acercó a él, preguntó: "¿Qué te pasa?" Al instante, la joven comenzó a llorar. Reveló que su madre tenía cáncer y estaba en estado crítico, actualmente sometiéndose a pruebas en el hospital. Al escuchar esto, él respondió de inmediato: "Recemos juntos. Somos misioneros", y todos se unieron en ofrecer palabras de oración por ella y su madre, apoyándola en todo momento. Yo también recé junto con ellos.
El cielo siempre busca la manera de asegurarnos de que nunca estamos solos.
