11/2 Thank You Monday 🍁 サンキューマンデー🍁Lunes de Gracias

🇺🇸→🇯🇵→🇪🇸
November is here!
How is everyone doing?
At ONENESS IN LOVE INC., we share our gratitude every Monday through our “Thank You Monday” posts.
Following our World Gratitude Day YouTube Live on September 21, 2026, we began inviting everyone to participate in Thank You Monday by sharing their own gratitude through our online form, which is open for submissions at any time.
This week, we’re sharing a post from someone who discovered the importance of looking inward and reflecting on themselves through everyday experiences.
A work-related interaction prompted them to reflect on how they interpret situations and recognize patterns in their own thinking, leading to new insights.
Sometimes, without even realizing it, we interpret other people’s words and everyday events through the lens of our own assumptions.
In moments like these, taking a step back and looking within may help us discover a different path forward.
We hope you’ll read this post and reflect on how it may relate to your own experiences.
Thank you, always.
This is my first Thank You Monday post. As I walked on an autumn evening, I thought about what I wanted to express my gratitude for.
I hope to share some thoughts about looking inward and reflecting on ourselves.
Lately, work has been extremely busy, and I overlooked an email. It concerned the submission of a document that was already well past its deadline. I imagine the person in charge must have been in a very difficult position because of this. In our subsequent exchanges, there were also some words that felt a little harsh to me.
This morning, I received another email that made me feel as though I was being interrogated or strongly pressured and controlled.
But perhaps that is simply how I perceived it. Someone else might read the same email and consider its contents entirely reasonable.
I have a tendency to always worry about the worst-case scenario.
This is something I had wanted to ask Setsu about during my previous session but never got around to bringing up.
Perhaps there is an important time for receiving an answer and working through a particular challenge. I feel that this experience has given me another opportunity to look more closely at a tendency I have, as part of my ongoing inner work.
What was written in the email was entirely factual. When someone points out something I haven't done well, how do I react? Is that reaction the one I truly want to have? If I hadn't taken the time to analyze my response, I might have continued to be carried away by my own imagined scenarios.
Through this analysis, I also began to see new possibilities for moving forward in my work. It was an important realization that came from examining myself.
I want to overcome my tendency to get caught up in imagined scenarios and unnecessary worries, and direct all my energy toward what I am truly meant to contribute. Change may not happen overnight, but I hope to keep moving in a better direction, little by little, with patience and clear thinking.
I am deeply grateful to Setsu and everyone for giving me this opportunity to put my thoughts into words and share them with others.
ONENESS IN LOVE INC.
